Privacy Policy

This policy covers the Lampa iOS application, a local puzzle game in which players tilt a phone or drag letters to turn distorted, drifting characters into correctly formed words.

Effective date: May 11, 2026
Lampa is designed to keep ordinary gameplay on your device. We do not require an account for core play, and the game does not need access to your location, photos, contacts, microphone, or camera.
01 / Information

Data Collection

Information connected with Lampa falls into a few limited categories. The game itself primarily processes gameplay activity locally so that it can respond to tilting, dragging, word progress, settings, and similar actions.

  • Personal information: Lampa does not ask for your name, address, phone number, account credentials, or date of birth to play. If you email us, we receive the address and message details you choose to include.
  • Device information: Depending on how the app is installed and operated, basic technical details such as iOS version, device model, language, region, and app version may be available to us through Apple or an integrated technical service.
  • Usage information: We may receive limited diagnostics or aggregated interaction information, such as crash reports, session events, or feature performance data, when those tools are enabled. This information is used in a generally statistical form where practical.

Lampa does not request sensitive permissions for location, photos, contacts, camera, or microphone. Tilt controls use device motion capabilities for gameplay; motion readings are not intended to identify you and are not sent to us as a personal profile.

If a future version introduces a feature that changes what information is gathered or what permission is needed, the relevant explanation will appear in the app or in an updated version of this policy.

02 / Purpose

Data Usage

Any information available to Lampa is handled for practical operating purposes: to provide and maintain the game, remember on-device preferences, diagnose crashes, understand broad feature performance, and answer support requests.

We do not use gameplay information to build a sensitive personal profile. Lampa does not sell personal information, and we do not use information gathered through the app for targeted advertising or direct marketing. We may use de-identified or aggregated statistics to improve level design, controls, stability, and accessibility.

When another company assists with hosting, diagnostics, analytics, customer support, or app distribution, it may handle limited information only as needed to provide that service and under appropriate contractual or operational restrictions. We do not disclose personal information for unrelated third-party marketing.

03 / Safeguards

Data Storage & Security

Core game state and preferences are intended to remain on your iOS device. Information sent through support email or optional technical reporting may be stored on systems operated by us or by service providers in locations where those providers maintain facilities. Those locations may be outside your country.

Reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards are used to reduce the risk of unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or loss. These measures can include access controls, encrypted transmission where supported, limited staff access, and service-provider review. No electronic system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Support correspondence is retained for as long as needed to respond, keep appropriate business records, or resolve a dispute. Technical records are kept for the shortest period that supports reliability and security work, after which they are deleted or aggregated when feasible. Local gameplay information remains on your device until you remove it, delete the app, or clear it through available device controls.

04 / Partners

Third-Party Services

Lampa may rely on general categories of third-party services for app delivery, infrastructure, crash diagnosis, aggregated analytics, email handling, or security monitoring. These providers may process technical identifiers, device details, diagnostic records, or support messages on our behalf.

The app may also interact with Apple services that are part of iOS or the App Store. Apple’s own privacy rules apply to information Apple collects independently, including information associated with your Apple account, purchases, device, or App Store activity.

Service providers are not authorized to use information received from Lampa for their own unrelated advertising or sale. Their handling of information is governed by their own policies as well as the arrangements applicable to the service they provide.

05 / Choices

Your Rights Under GDPR & CCPA

Depending on where you live and subject to applicable legal limits, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, request a copy, correct inaccurate details, request deletion, or ask that processing be limited. You may also object to certain processing or request a portable copy of information supplied by you.

Residents covered by the California Consumer Privacy Act may have rights to know, access, correct, and delete personal information, together with the right to opt out of its sale or sharing. Lampa does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is no such sale or advertising-sharing program to opt out of.

To make a request, email support@lampa.com with the subject “Privacy Request.” We may ask for enough information to verify the request and protect another person’s information. We will respond within the period required by applicable law. You may also have the right to contact your local data protection authority if you believe a request was not handled appropriately.

06 / Age Limit

Children’s Privacy

Lampa is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. The app is not designed to request children’s names, contact details, precise location, photos, or other identifying information.

If a parent or guardian believes that a minor has provided personal information to us, please contact support@lampa.com. After taking reasonable steps to confirm the situation, we will work to remove the information where required. This approach is intended to support applicable children’s privacy requirements, including COPPA.

07 / Changes

Policy Updates

Lampa’s privacy practices may evolve as the game gains features, changes technical providers, or responds to legal requirements. We may revise this page at any time. The date at the top will show when the current version took effect.

For a material change, we may provide additional notice through the app, the website at arcadian.lampa.fit, an App Store update description, or another reasonable channel. Continuing to use a version of Lampa after an updated policy is posted means the revised notice applies to future handling of information, to the extent allowed by law.
